An A La Carte of links to things I came across in the last week that I found interesting.
Pretty Excited about this Dual Screen E-Reader that is supposed to come out this year, I only hope the price is reasonable. In the last couple of years, I've started to enjoy reading eBooks. There was a time I bought books only in paperback and hardback but I ran out of space and had to start getting rid of books. Now I buy the majority of my books in Kindle format, however, I really miss holding a book in my hands. This new E-Reader looks like it will be the best of both worlds.
This is a podcast episode from Michael Hyatt that I think you might enjoy as much as I did. We all know that New Year's Resolutions aren't very often successful but what can we do to set goals for a new year that we can actually achieve. Give it a listen.
The "Baby Yoda" Craze
I don't usually keep up with any new series but we purchased Disney+ as soon as it was available and they pushed "The Mandalorian" pretty hard. After the first episode, I wasn't too impressed but my 2-year-old grandaughter was sold on "Baby Yoda" so there on out we were watching. The series did get better but I've been blown away by the "Baby Yoda" craze. Every kid and many adults are talking endlessly about this character and this series. Here is an article on what we know about "Baby Yoda."
52 Week Bible Reading Plan
It's never too late to start a yearly Bible reading plan. This is the one I use and you can print out the one page PDF and keep it in your Bible and mark it off as you go. I've used this plan for several years and find it the easiest way to read through my Bible every year. http://www.bible-reading.com/bible-plan.pdf
Another article on New Year's Resolutions only this one is coming from a permaculture perspective. What could permaculture thinking have to do with keeping resolutions? It does.
I Was A Guest On A Friend's Podcast
If you're a truck driver or interested in online business then you might be interested in this episode of "The Trucking Podcast." Buck has been a good friend of mine for the last few years in ministry and the online business and podcasting space. On this episode we discuss his plans going forward with his podcast and online business.
I Wrote A Book
It isn't available until 1/19/20 but you can go ahead and pre-order the Kindle eBook edition or wait until then and get the paperback. This will be a great book for anyone thinking about getting started homesteading or folks that are in the beginning stages of homesteading. I wrote it with the person in mind who dreams of homesteading someday but thinks they can't start now.
